Fine-grained texture without pattern.
Milled.
| Monnaie de Paris, Paris (and Pessac starting 1973), France (864-date) |
This medal is struck by the Paris mint in FDC/BU minting. Note that the medal is struck on both sides: the side without the motif is struck with a fine texture.
Despite the 1960 date, the design is taken from the 1 franc Semeuse argent 1898-1900, whose "1" has a horizontal bar and two dots surrounding the date instead of different ones.
The double cornucopia has been used by the Monnaie de Paris since around 1994. Source: https://fr.numista.com/forum/topic71808.html
