Coins from the Duchy of Brittany

Since Nominoé, first king of the Bretons in 845 until the Duchess Anne in 1514, Brittany is by its numismatics one of the richest territories integrated to France. The princes of Brittany, under the titles of kings, counts and dukes maintained their independence and this long period of eleven centuries bequeathed us many types of coins minted in various cities including Nantes, Rennes, Vannes or Saint Brieuc.
