Coins from the Duchy of Brno

Duchy of Brno was one of three moravian duchies created by Bohemian duke Bretislaus I for his younger sons in 1055. After reestablishment of the duchy in 1061, it existed until 1182 when it became part of the Margraviate of Moravia. During its existence, duchy produced Denars similar to those produced in Duchy of Bohemia.
