Banknotes from Curaçao

Curaçao, which capital is Willemstad, is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands located in the southern Caribbean Sea, approximately 40 miles north of the Venezuelan coast. A part of the Lesser Antilles, it hosts 150,000 people in an area of 171 square miles comprised of the main island of Curaçao and the uninhabited island of "Little Curaçao". It was known as Curaçao and Dependencies from 1815 to 1954, and was one of the five island territories of the former Netherlands Antilles before their dissolution on 10 October 2010.
