Obverse
The Star of David with the word “Jude”, reminiscent of the yellow patch worn by the Jews of the ghettos and in the camps, with flames of fire burning in the lower part of the medal. The silver medal bears a yellow silk screen in place of the patch. The words “REMEMBER…NEVER FORGET” are inscribed in Hebrew along the upper border of the medal and in English along the lower border.

Reverse
The words “IN MEMORY OF THE HOLOCAUST VICTIMS” are inscribed in Hebrew and in English, above barbed wire. The words are also inscribed in Yiddish, along the upper border, and in French along the lower border.
