Death of King Frederik III of Denmark on february 9th, 1670

Obverse

Imperial Orb over crossed Royal Scepter and Sword with crowns of Denmark and Norway at both sides. Above, in the sky, the crowned monogram of King Frederik III is raising above clouds, in heaven. All is within a circle with small arms in quarters.

Script: Latin

Lettering: MANET ULTIMA COELO

Reverse

Inside a circle an inscribed obelisk is set in a landscape with a lion crouched before it; setting sun in background. A script with titles of King is above the obelisk, within the circle. Dates of birth, death, reign and coronation in corners.
