Markersdorf-Haindorf is a municipality in the Sankt Pölten-Land District, Federal State of Lower Austria. It was formed in 1970 as a result of the merging of Markersdorf an der Pielach and Haindorf an der Sirning. It has a population of 2,080 inhabitants. After the First World War, Gemeinde Haindorf an der Sirning (English: Municipality of Haindorf an der Sirning) issued notgeld in response to a severe shortage of currency.
