Hechingen is a town in central Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated about 60 kilometres south of the state capital of Stuttgart and 90 kilometres north of Lake Constance and the Swiss border. After the First World War, "Stadt" Hechingen issued notgeld in response to a severe shortage of currency.
