Comments

Note that the Anan Islands is a fictional invention of the Blue Waters Mint. The following information is from the "history" created by Blue Waters Mint for marketing purposes:

A group of 3 small very isolated, autonomous Scandinavian islands totaling 16.5 km2 with a population of just over 100. The islands were permanently settled in 1365 and are independent but would have a relationship with the Scandinavian countries of Finland, Norway and Sweden but maintain their own identity and culture. There is no regular transport to the islands. The souta currency was devised and minted and put into circulation by the islands council so is a true currency. This coin however is used as a fund raising exersise with two mint runs of 200 and 300 respectfully. The coin was minted on the island with a screw press. A total of 17,230 souta of all types is in circulation on the islands.
