Comments

The Royal Australian Mint released this Aluminium-bronze NCLT coin in a large Coincard.

The coin celebrates the centenary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, ending the First World War and setting the terms for peace. The signing took place in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles on 28 June 1919. As a signatory this was the first political treaty signed by Australian officials. It established Australia not only as an independent nation under international law, but also as a member of the newly-formed League of Nations

Australia Post issued the coin at a price of $17.95 in a PNC Issue 23 of 2019 (7,000 Copies)

Also approximately 900 copies were issued at  the Sydney Stamp & Coin EXPO from the 13 - 16th June 2019
