Comments

Released by the RAM on 2nd March 2020 this Aluminium-bronze coloured coin commemorates 75 years since the end of World War 2.

The war ended on 2 September 1945 and around a million Australian men and women served in the war, with nearly 40,000 losing their lives in the conflict. The coin features the dove of peace and colours representing the three Australian forces, Army, Air Force & Navy, that served from 1939 to 1945.

The coin is released into circulation & rolls without a Mintmark and in a collector Coincard with a "C" Mintmark.


Australia Post have released an un-mintmarked version of the coin in a PNC (6,500 Copies)
