Texts in English and French. On the left side, the issuing institute and the coat of arms of Canada with a vertical holographic stripe. The portrait is that of Sir Robert Laird Borden, statesman and 8ᵉ Prime Minister of Canada from 1911 to 1920. In the center is a front view of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa with a legend to his right. Below the legend is the denomination of the "100" note accompanied by a watermark with the portrait of Sir Robert Laird Borden and above the legend a Canadian flag. The multicolored printing is dominated by gold/yellow/green.
