Series: Diamond series

Obverse

Ornamental large numeral 100 in the centre, value tablets in English top left and Hindi at bottom right. Compared to previous design, shifting of prefix numbers to top right & bottom left in red. Released in April 1967.
Commonly known as a 'Diamond Series' note due to the intricate ornamental pattern printed within the numeral '100' on the obverse.
