Dry Stamp
The dry stamp is located in the lower center of the assignat.
Diameter: 28 mm
Crowned shield with three fleur-de-lis, surrounded by acanthus leaves and branches of oak. A cartridge with the inscription: LA LOI ET LE ROI. Between the border and the cartridge the name of the engraver: LORT. F., standing for Lorthior fecit = Lorthior made it.
