THOMAS DE LA RUE AND COMPANY LIMITED.
Note was only issued for about a year until its reissue in purple.
Reason is because the 10 Dollar note was also red in colour and it caused a lot of confusion since some people were illiterate and can only recognise the denomination of the note according to its colour.
