Issued by the Central Bank of Manchou (行銀央中洲滿; Mǎnzhōu Zhōngyāng Yínháng; Manshū Chūō Ginkō, a central bank of the Imperial Japanese-controlled puppet state of the Empire of Manchuria (Manchukuo), and was issued into general circulation in 1944. It was only in brief circulation in Manchukuo, but was no longer legal tender due to the Soviet invasion of Manchuria and the Surrender of Imperial Japan.
