Comments

Series D was intended for Students which were allowed to Foreign Exchange.

FEC had a validity of 5 years from issuance date (that had to be written on reverse, as well as the bearer's signature, on lower right side). If not used, on leaving, bearer could exchange for other currency, but if 5 years passed, only could be exchanged by Cuban Pesos at the rate of the moment to be executed.

Main color brown, on pale rose.

On 1993, the owing of foreign currencies stopped to be illegal, and FECs (as well as INTUR coins) were replaced with Peso Convertible, the new currency created for use of visitors.
