Engraver: Rupert Franke

Franke Rupert (also Ruppert; 30 October 1888, Vienna – 1971, Vienna) was an Austrian graphic designer and engraver, pupil of Alfred Cossmann. He worked for the Austro-Hungarian Bank until its liquidation, then for the Hungarian Banknote Printing Company, and later for the Oesterreichische Nationalbank. He was the engraver of many pengő banknotes and the designer of the low denomination pengő banknote series of 1938. He also designed Schilling banknotes.

Erhard Amadeus-Dier (8 February 1893, Vienna – 25 September 1969, Klosterneuburg, Lower Austria ) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. From 1921, he was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus (House of Artists). He was active as a member of the Austrian resistance during National Socialist period. From 1939 to 1942, he was head-designer at the porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal, in Berlin. He received various national and international awards. He created designs for Austrian banknotes, tapestries, wallpapers and church windows.
Hedwig zum Tobel (1929, Vienna – 1985, Vienna) was a painter, graphic artist, stage designer and stencil designer. She was a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus (House of Artists) from 1976. In 1982, she was awarded the Golden Laurel Prize by the Vienna Künstlerhaus.
