Comments

Issued on 5 March 1946 by government under occupation allied forces.

There were a plan to stop issuing 50 Sen banknotes, as the new brass 50 Sen coins were minted in 1946, but chaos after the war, electric power shortage, and the shortage of small currency forced the government to print the 50 Sen banknotes until 1947.
