In this same building where the ]Caixa de Conversão (Conversion Fund) operated, from 1906 to 1913, in Rio de Janeiro. The building was also the headquarters of the Caixa de Estabilização (Stabilization Fund), from 1926 to 1930, and provisional headquarters of the Ministério da Fazenda (Ministry of Finance), from 1934 to 1943, passing to the Banco Central (Central Bank) in the 60s where today the headquarters of the Departamento do Meio Circulante - MECIR (Current Department) is located.
(3) Coat of Arms of the United States of Brazil.
(4) Steam locomotive, nicknamed "Maria-Fumaça" (Maria smoke).
