20 Yan (yuan)
One of many pre-1949 local communist banks. Used locally, these had minimal security features, and were often screen printed. The paper is low quality, much like old tablet paper. Because screen printed, later notes are much lower quality than earlier printed notes--as the screens wear out and retain ink/grit. Excellent to poor printing examples exist.
