Printed in Germany for use in occupied territories of the Soviet Union, but never issued, as the idea of Russian language on occupation notes was rejected.
Instead notes of the ZENTRALNOTENBANK UKRAINE were issued. Technically this is not an occupation note intended for the Ukraine, but a possible issue in an area the Germans called "Ostland" which was to be administered from Kyiv.
