Comments

These notes were cut in half.
The left halves were circulating as lawful money for half of the value written thereon. These halves were legal tender until 31.12.1926. From 01.01.1927 until 31.12.1931 they were accepted for exchange only by the National Bank of Greece. On 01.01.1932, the halves which were not presented for exchange became void and worthless.
The right halves were taken as payment for the compulsory loan in 1922.

Half of P#52.
