Comments

Mengani was a small state located in Kathiawar in Bombay Presidency, 15 miles south of Rajkot city with an area of 34 sq. mi. (88 sq. km). The Talukdar paid an annual tribute to the British government and his affairs were looked after by a Kathiawar manager. This cash coupon was used due to the coin shortage during World War II.
