The Sydney Monorail (originally TNT Harbourlink and later Metro Monorail) was a single-loop monorail in Sydney, Australia, that connected Darling Harbour, Chinatown and the Sydney central business and shopping districts. It opened in July 1988 and closed in June 2013.

Part of a set of nine animal tokens which were released by the RAM during the 1988 Australian Bicentennial celebrations. These tokens could be used as payment on the Sydney Darling Harbour Monorail. They were also issued in an uncirculated 9 Coin set.



Twelve Ride Tokens were issued in total, Nine of the tokens featured animal themes, two of them featured Sydney Bridges and a final one celebrated the Bicentenary of Australia.
