Comments

Part of the Barclays Bank Dominion, Colonial and Overseas series.

This paste-up note, sold by Spink in auction, is the only known example of a suggested denomination other than $5 for issue from St. Lucia. An ink annotation on the top border reads 'As submitted. 3.8.26'.
It is not known if a $20 note was proceeded with beyond this paste-up stage.

Barclays overseas notes for issue in the West Indies have been recorded in three denominations: $5, $20, and $100. Only $5 notes are known either as issued notes or in Specimen form for St. Lucia
