Comments

These notes were overprinted after Denmark was occupied by Germany during the Second World War. Due to the severed link between Denmark and the Faroese Islands.
These notes were overprinted on order of county chief Hilbert.

Under the exchange and overprint of Danish notes, varius of the notes handed in were also overprinted and put into circulation again.
