Comments

Cape Breton Island, population 135,974, comprises about one-third of the province of Nova Scotia. Although many other peoples inhabit the island (including the English, the Irish, the French-speaking Acadians, and the indigenous Mi'kmaq), it is best known for its Scottish heritage, as you might expect in a province called "Nova Scotia". That Scottish theme can be seen on this "MacPuffin Dollar", which were issued in a regular series starting from 1975.
