Comments

This coloured pad printed coin was issued as part of the RAM 2001 Proof Year Set & the Koala Proof Baby Set.
Nine different 3 Coin Federation Proof Sets were issued in different coloured rectangular boxes that included a proof 20 cent and 50 cent commemorative coin. Also the coin was included in a beautiful special Twenty Coin Proof set, mintage 13,000.



One Hundred special numbered VIP 20 Coin Proof Sets were also issued.

This was the first colourised $1 coin issued by the Royal Australian Mint

An aluminium-bronze non-colourised version of the coin was released into circulation and was also included in the UNC Year Set, Baby Koala UNC Set, Nine different UNC 3 Coin Sets and a 20 Coin UNC Folder.
