Goldine-Plated Brass
The Grand Duchy of Avram is a self-declared Australian micro-nation, based in Tasmania and founded on October 1, 1980 by Prince John, the Grand Duke of Avram. In 1985 the Australian Government tried to close the Royal Bank of Avram, but in 1986 the Court declared that Avram’s coins were not illegal in the Commonwealth of Australia.
