Note: In a move to control import and circulation of KM#1, the Sultan ordered the countermarking; AH1312 is the year 'Ali Dinar used as the official beginning of his Sultanate.
The countermark can be on the obverse or reverse.
Counterfeit (contemporary) may exist.
AH1327/17 approximates 1312, the year 'Ali Dinar officially used as the beginning of his dynasty as per noted historian O'Fahey.
