The Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania was established in 1985 in Vilnius. Today it’s situated in the very centre of Vilnius at the intersection of Gediminas Avenue and Totoriu Street. Here, in five halls over two storeys visitors can be introduced to the history of world money and banking, Lithuanian money, development of banking in Lithuania since the emergence of the first credit institutions to the present day.
