Comments

Gilroy Roberts monogram, which some confuse for a hammer and sickle, appears on the truncation.

From 1965 to 1967, these coins were minted in Philadelphia and Denver without a mintmark.

The outer layer of the coins is a mixture of .800 silver, which is bonded to an inner core made from .209 silver, for a net composition of .400 silver.
