Crowned and armored half figure of King Gustav Vasa, with raised sword in right hand and globus cruciger in the left (symbols of the power of Sweden). Figure of King is within circle with legend outside.

Translation: Gustav (Vasa) King of Sweden by the Grace of God
Crown of Sweden above three shields in a triangular frame: above two shield are bent to the center of the coin: the left one has the Three Crowns of Sweden, the right one has the Folkungs Lion. Below the two is a shield with Vasa Arms that divides last two digits of date at sides. Crown and three shields are inside a beaded circle with legend outside.
