Comments

1939 Golden Gate Exposition, Charbneau Dollar, HK-488b, Shevlin-Hyder J3. Gold, R.8. Similar to HK-488b, except 10 K is present below the head of Pacifica, and the D in 1 D has been replaced by a star, to placate Secret Service concerns. The 1939 and 1940 Charbneau dollars are rare and in demand, especially those struck in gold alloy.
