Crowned double headed imperial eagle, legend in gothic characters pour "Fridericus Romanorum Imperator ..." Rosettes pour la ponctuation.

Lettering: FR*R*IMP*A*E*I*O*V

Reverse

Shield of Styria (spitting panther) over 2 cross patées, the larger one dividing the legend. Date in 2 digits at end of legend.

Lettering: MON NOV STI 88

Friedrich III was crowned Holy Roman Emperor in 1452 and reigned till 1493.
