Comments

This coin echoes the Hundred Years War: on its obverse, King Philip VI is no longer wearing the royal coat, but the hauberk and coat of arms; he no longer holds the scepter and the fleur-de-lis, but the sword in his right hand and the shield of France in his left hand.
