Comments

This coin commemorates the Summer Paralympic Games, which are held every four years by the International Paralympic Comittee. A total of 172 Ukrainian Paralympians competed in 15 sports at the 15th Summer Paralympic Games, which were held in Rio de Janeiro. The Ukrainian national team took third place overall, winning a record number of medals. Ukrainian Paralympic athletes set 109 records in three sports: swimming, athletics and powerlifting, of which 22 were world records, 54 European records, and 32 Paralympic records.
