The Arrayán

Luma apiculata Family of the Myrtaceae. Common names: arrayán, quetri, cuthu.
It grows in the sub-Antarctic forests, in the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro and Chubut, near the rivers and on the shores of the lakes. To see it in its natural habitat, visit the Los Arrayanes National Park, south of the province of Neuquén, which has the forest with the highest density of arrayanes in the country.
