Comments

The fourth design in The Queen's Beasts BU series which began in 2016 with the Lion of England, there are a total of ten Beasts representing the statues that stood in Westminster Abbey on the Queen's Coronation in 1953. The original statues are now on display in the Canadian Museum of History at Gatineau, whilst James Woodford's sculpted replicas stand in the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, London.

Issued individually in Brilliant Uncirculated packs (11,263 sales) as well as in third party tubes (6,500 sales). This Jody Clark reverse design was struck in a variety of base and precious metal compositions and denominations.
