Comments

The Entente Cordiale was a series of agreements signed on 8th April 1904 between the United Kingdom and the French Republic which saw a significant improvement in Anglo-French relations.

Released in individual packs, in a Brilliant Uncirculated presentation folder (16,507 sales), as a reverse frosted Proof (50,000 issue limit, 6,065 sales) and in a Philatelic Numismatic Cover. The design was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort proof, gold proof and platinum piedfort proof.

Despite being produced in their millions and being available at face value from most post offices and banks, the ordinary business strike was a Royal Mint commemorative issue and not intended for general circulation.
