Comments

These coins were cast with a nominal value of 10 Cash to fund the war with the Western Xia. In 1048, these were reduced to a value of 3 Cash, more accurate to their weight.

Hartill says these bronze pieces were cast in Jiangnan, and the only mints seemingly open in that province at that time were the Guangning and Yongping Mints. The Yongfeng Mint was close to the area, so it is possible these pieces were also cast at that mint.
