Per Palle Storm was a Danish-born Norwegian sculptor. He was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Buenos Aires. Among his sculptures are Arbeiderbevegelsens pionerer, unveiled at Youngstorget in 1958, six bronze sculptures outside the Oslo City Hall, and several World War II memorials.

Reverse

Eurasian Elk in the centre facing left, value above, name of the country, crossed miners' hammers (symbol of the Norwegian Mint) and date below. The Eurasian Elk (Alces alces) is now considered a different species from the American and East Siberian Moose.
