The falcon (sapsan) widely spread in tundra and wooden zones of the European part of Russia, in the Western, Central and Eastern Siberia, in the Far East, Kamchatka, Sakhalin is under protection in the great number of preserves. To breed the falcon the nursery in Oksky Preserves was set up.
