The coin is the prelude to a five-part series "Musical Instruments" (2018 - 2022, one issue per year) in recognition of the German musical instrument industry, which occupies an outstanding position in Europe since the Middle Ages. Due to their quality and innovation, the instruments are in demand all over the world and thus ambassadors of German music culture in Germany and abroad.
