The Royal Australian Mint in conjunction with Australian Newspapers released this NCLT coin as part of a 15 coin series called "Anzac Spirit" in October/November 2018.
To get a coin you had to obtain a paper token from the newspaper and redeem it at a cost of $3.00. Different tokens were published each day for just over 2 weeks (hence 15 coins).
The Anzac Spirit coins are commemorating  the "Values that Defined our Nation"

Eleven of the 15 coins released in the series are 20 cent coins and four of them are 50 cent coins. They were issued in a collector coin card. This 20 Cent coin is not meant for circulation however it is legal tender.

This particular coin refers to the Enduring Value. After landing on Gallipoli on April 25th, 1915, Australian troops spent endured eight agonising months trying to survive in the narrow confines of Anzac Cove. They had to withstand the searing heat of summer and the bitter cold of winter. A monotonous diet, exposure to the elements, and the daily hazards of rifle, machine-gun & artillery fire affected the physical and mental well-being of soldiers. They were finally evacuated in December 1915 - but this was followed by a further three years of living and dying in the muddy, squalid trenches of the Western Front. More than 295,000 Australians served in France and Belgium; the geography and foe were different to Gallipoli but the conditions were often worse.
