Raja Mahipal Tomar (18th ruler of Delhi of Tomar Dynasty) and reigned for 25 years.  He also established another town called “Mahipalpur”. This town today is near the Delhi International Airport, India and National Highway 8 that passes through this historic town.

Tomar Dynasty ruled parts of present day Delhi and Haryana between 9th and 12th century.
