The Royal Australian Mint released this Aluminium-bronze NCLT coin in a large Coincard.
The coin celebrates the centenary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, ending the First World War and setting the terms for peace. The signing took place in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles on 28 June 1919. As a signatory this was the first political treaty signed by Australian officials. It established Australia not only as an independent nation under international law, but also as a member of the newly-formed League of Nations
