Coin struck by the RAM but issued by Australia Post as change into circulation from 3500 Post Offices Australia wide. The coins are featuring 26 classic Aussie icons from letters of the Alphabet from A to Z.
This coin is the Letter "X" for Xantippe. Around 240km north of Perth, X marks the spot on a tiny community in the region of Dalwallinu. The 20 residents of Xantipe are very proud to live in the only place in Australia to start with the letter X. Xantipe doesn't qualify for its own postcode, so it shares code 6609 with Dalwallinu, 33km away.
A press in album for the 26 coins was available for $9 or you can buy the full set of 26 coins in a special tube including the album for $49.
