Mary Gillick was a sculptor best known for her effigy of Elizabeth II used on coinage in the United Kingdom and elsewhere from 1953 to 1970.
Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS is a British sculptor who has produced many acclaimed works, among which are several designs for British coinage.

Engravers: Vladimir Gottwald , George Edward Kruger Gray

Vladimir Gottwald was a member of the Royal Australian Mint's Design and Engraving Section. His portrait, designed following the British Royal Mint's invitation for a new effigy in 1996, was among the three designs submitted to Her Majesty for approval. Although Rank-Broadley's design was eventually chosen, Gottwald's design was approved for a once only use to commemorate the Royal Visit in 2000.

Eighth coin in the RAM Silver Proof  Subscription Series that ran until 2011

Released by the RAM in 2004 to commemorate 40 years since the last Penny was issued in 1964. The coin was released in a capsule in a plush case with limited edition certificate.
